Barone Consulting Sponsors American Heroes Ball at the National Press Clubs

Washington, DC (October 9, 2012) – Barone Consulting is proud to be a participating sponsor of the 2nd Annual American Heroes Ball being held Veterans’ Day Weekend 2012 at the National Press Club. All proceeds from the Ball will go to benefit Not Alone; a nationwide non-profit that provides programs, resources, and services to warfighters and families impacted by combat stress and PTSD. Following on from last year’s successful event, the 2012 American Heroes Ball has partnered with Not Alone to raise awareness of the thousands of wounded and ill veterans who have served our country so faithfully in recent overseas operations. Not all injuries are physical in nature. Individual tickets may still be purchased.
Not Alone was founded in 2008 to help returning warfighters and their families adjust to transitioning out of combat. They provide program, resources, and services to warfighters and family members impacted by combat stress and PTSD through a confidential and anonymous community. Not Alone is for everyone whose live are impacted by the battlefield experience.

Both the mission of Not Alone and the efforts of the American Heroes Ball overlap with the core beliefs of Barone Consulting. With strong roots in the military, defense industry and among the warfighter community – we are all too aware that the battlefield experience does not end when one transitions out of the theatre. We continue to support the efforts of these and related organizations. Part of having a strong military means taking care of our warfighters and their families. We are all the same community.
